We evaluate custodial banks based on the services required by a client and the best cost available for providing those services. Our evaluation is conducted through an in-depth questionnaire and a request for fee proposal, which we summarize into a search report and actionable recommendations for the client.

We have expertise in creating custodial contracts that tie the custodian's compensation to the actual level of service rendered and have found that such contracts dramatically increase the level of service provided by custodians to plan sponsors.

RVK has significant experience with custodial providers, custodial searches, and the competitive reviews and retainer/project search engagements that we believe position us exceptionally well to provide service to clients. Furthermore, given that our work is done in the context of a comprehensive approach of investment consulting, we have significant added perspective as to the value added by custodial banks to our clients through the use of both basic and extended service offerings.
